Off the Binary is part of a new form of low budget dramas - web series.
They are often set in an apartment or even one room. 
The LGBT community does not have much media content that explores their sexualities offered to them. 
Off the Binary follows the web series convention to allow its creators and writer the upmost freedom when it comes to addressing issues, its themes and how narrative is expressed.
